Netball Round Up - Website

Welcome to Netball Round Up website, my name is Garry Svendsen editor of the netball round up website and I would like to invite your netball team or association to be part off this website.

Netball round up is currently an article that I have written for Quest community newspapers Albert & Logan News and Logan West Leader on a weekly basis, since March 2005. Click here for this weeks article

Having a current circulation off over 75,000 weekly issues, the majority of readers enjoy the article and information they read about and during the main netball season it went into the mid week editions of the Albert & Logan News as well as Friday's.

Although coming from a rugby league back ground in sport, I have been involved with netball since the mid 1980's with my wife Charlene (inset picture) and two daughters who also play netball. Area's where I have been involved with netball are Sydney's eastern suburbs, Norfolk Island and Brisbane South.

I will also be entering my netball round up articles for everyone to read and what I would like if you are interested is to broaden the area of information for and about netball with your help.

The cost to you to get your information on the website is free, if you are interested contact me via email garrysvendsen@hotmail.com with your:

• Name and contact details of your club/association
• Area or region your club/association
• Club team names
• Dates for your upcoming events
• Website and/or email address so I can link it to your information
• News regarding carnivals or anything you think may be of interest to netball
• Send through your logo if you like
• Sponsors and supporters for clubs and associations are welcome to send through contact information and logos.
• Contact person that would be interested in being in contact with me regarding netball information from your area or sponsors contact details.
• Interstate and International netball associations are welcome to send through details of carnival dates, masters etc.

Please do not expect a whole website to promote your association, it will only be news of how your team/association went at games, carnivals/tournaments etc. If persons requires more information that is were the link to your website or email will be utilised.
 
This will not cost anyone any money just some of your time to forward information to me on a regular basis, the idea behind this is to promote netball from junior level through to our Ergon Energy competition in Queensland. Also interstate and international netball news that may be of interest to you.

Brisbane South Wildcats exciting Goal Defence Kerri Barr, had a exciting and consistant year for the Wildcats in the 2008 Holden Astra competion which is run by Queensland netball.

Kerri has had an exceptional year with the wildcats, in the position of goal defence she has on numerous occasions shown great athleticisms, coordination and commitment in attempting to nullify the oppositions attack
